By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated December 3, 2020, November 8 is officially celebrated each year as Victory Day in Azerbaijan.

On November 7, 2025, a special event dedicated to Victory Day took place at STP-BTECH LLC. The opening speech was delivered by the company’s shift supervisor, Shikhmammad Shikhmammadov, who spoke about the key events of the 44-day Patriotic War. Lieutenant Colonel Shikhmammad Shikhmammadov, who served as the Air Defense Chief of an Infantry Brigade, was awarded the medals “For the Liberation of Aghdam,” “For the Liberation of Sugovushan,” and “For Military Merit” for his service during the war.

During the continuation of the event, the floor was given to Zaur Nadirov, Head of the Administrative Affairs Department. Lieutenant Colonel Zaur Nadirov, who served as the Operations Chief of an Artillery Brigade, spoke about the bravery of our martyrs, soldiers, officers, and servicemen who liberated our lands at the cost of their lives. For his military service during the 44-day Patriotic War, Zaur Nadirov was awarded the medals “For Distinction in Combat,” “For Distinction in Service,” “For the Liberation of Aghdam,” “For the Liberation of Sugovushan,” and “Participant of the Patriotic War.”

At the conclusion of the event, gifts were presented to Karabakh War veterans and participants working at STP-BTECH LLC, and their acts of heroism were once again honored. Following the ceremony, a visit was made to the Martyrs’ Alley, where a wreath was laid in memory of our fallen heroes.

We commemorated both our victory and the brave sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives with deep respect and gratitude.
